Our words can comfort and express that we understand or that we “see” the other person in front of us. And of course, our words can do the opposite: they can hurt, isolate and make someone feel insignificant. Today, pay attention to the words you are using to speak with others. Are they kind, uplifting, or inspirational? Or are they mean, derogatory, or offensive? Know that the words you choose to use matter and then choose to be kind. Use your words for good. Join us at lunch at the Appreciation Station and send a note of kindness to someone else.
