Important Science Assessment Announcement for Juniors

Dear Junior Students and Families,

The state of Illinois requires that all junior students take the Illinois Science Assessment (ISA). This assessment will be administered via Chromebooks, and the test will be administered between March 11-13 in science classrooms during the school day. Junior students will be completing three separate sections of this test on three consecutive days.

IMPORTANT: Students should bring their fully-charged Chromebook to the exam each day. Students who do not have a Chromebook will be required to rent one from the Business Office in order to ensure they can sit for the exam.

Each day’s testing should be completed during the student’s class period. If a student needs a bit more time to finish their exam, we have a plan in place to allow those students to finish their current section under supervision before being sent back to class with a pass.

If you have any questions about this assessment, please reach out to Marc Helgeson, the testing director, at [email protected]. If you have questions about accommodations, please reach out to Zach Lommatzsch, our assistant testing director, at [email protected].
