ASIAN STUDENT ASSOC
The Asian Student Association would like to highlight the Mooncake Festival, which is being celebrated today. Also called the Mid Autumn Festival, it’s a traditional Chinese holiday that celebrates the harvest, and is named after Mooncakes, which are pastries filled with sweet or savory ingredients.
GIRL UP CLUB
Are you passionate about empowering young women? Do you have leadership skills and a vision for the future of RB's Girl Up club? We are excited to announce that applications for the Executive Board positions for Girl Up are now open! Please submit a paragraph to Mrs. Carmona via email detailing your qualifications and relevant experiences. Be sure to include any ideas or goals you have for the club. Submissions are due Wednesday the 18th at the end of the day. We will vote on positions at our meeting this Friday at 7:15 in Room 117. All are welcome!

The Chess Club practices today and every Tuesday in Room 119. We are also having a special CHESS IN THE PARK on Wednesday 9/18 at Kiwanis Park in Brookfield starting at 4 p.m. All are welcome to come and play!

Feeling stumped and needing help with classwork? NHS tutors are here! Free tutoring is available after school and during all lunches in the library Monday through Thursday. No sign up is necessary.

Attention seniors! Thursday, September 26th is the last chance to have your senior portrait taken for the yearbook. Photographers from Prestige Portraits will be in Room 130 (the Forum Room) from 8:00am to 3:30pm on September 26th. No appointments necessary. Contact Mrs. Marsh with any questions.
