STUDENT ASSOCIATION
Our Pop Tops Collection for the Ronald McDonald House starts Monday. Bring your pop tops to Ms. Ziola’s Room 215 or Mr. Dybas’ Room 211 before April 17th.
Did you know that pop tops are the most valuable part of a can when recycled? They’re made from a special type of aluminum that’s easier to recycle than the rest of the can.The students who collect the most pop tops will win prizes, so start collecting and help us make a huge impact! Thanks for your support!
NHS FUNDRAISER
Today is NHS's fundraiser for the Ronald McDonald House. Please stop by the Chipotle in La Grange between 5-9 PM today and mention the NHS fundraiser when ordering.
DRESS COLLECTION
This is a quick reminder that we’re collecting dress donations for Dresses for Hope, a charity dress sale benefiting Sarah’s Inn, an organization that supports victims of domestic abuse.
If you have any gently worn or new dresses you no longer need, please drop them off in the donation boxes at the front of the school by Friday.
Every dress makes a difference, and you will make $10 per dress that is sold, so please spread the word. Thank you for your support!
GSA
On behalf of GSA, we will be participating in the Day of NO Silence on Friday, April 4th. In 2024, GLSEN made the switch to Day of (No) Silence, in opposition to the current attempted erasure of LGBTQ+ people, especially transgender and nonbinary people, from public life. Being silent is no longer an option; we must Rise Up and Take Action. GLSEN’s Day of (No) Silence is a nationally-recognized student-led demonstration where LGBTQ+ students and allies all around the country — and the world — protest the harmful effects of harassment and discrimination of LGBTQ+ people in schools.
ART CLUB
Bulldogs! Spring back into the art club after a restful break; you never know what might bloom. Hop on down today at 3:30 in room 248!
